Is WSU willing to go into a 10-year term, or beyond 5 years?
Yes, WSU is willing and interested in exploring a 10-year term or beyond 5 years.
Will meal plans/exchanges be available at this location?
Are employees currently unionized/ is there a CBA in place?
Third party vendors are not currently subject to this.
What additional spaces would be available? Would these be add on locations to the winner of this RFP, or will these go out to bid down the road?
We plan to show other available spaces during tours, however, at this time our primary focus is on the first-floor food court space defined in the AOO.
Is there an offsite auxiliary storage available for the location that is available?
There may be a small storage cage available depending on need, no additional square footage.
Will this location be able to accept dining dollars, or just Cougar Cash?
This location will not accept dining dollars. It is expected that the successful proposer will accept Cougar Cash as a form of payment.
Can you provide student satisfaction survey data for current retail locations on campus?
A comprehensive survey has not been completed since 2017, overall satisfaction with current retail offerings on campus has been positive.
Can you share projected traffic into the CUB for fall 2021?
It is anticipated that we will be close to non-pandemic traffic on campus in the fall of 2021. Average weekday traffic is 10,000 patrons through per day.
Can you share current traffic into the CUB during spring 2021?
During the pandemic (Fall 2020/Spring 2021) the CUB has continued to see an average of 700 patrons through the facility per day.
Can you provide floor plans of the additional locations available on ground floor?
Available space on CUB ground, southwest corner: 770 square feet
Available lounge seating space on CUB ground, northeast corner: 3,350 square feet
Available kitchen and service area on CUB ground, northeast corner: 4,080 square feet.
What Patron Management System is CougarCash linked to?
Can you share recognized revenue by location in the CUB for Panda Express, Subway, Carlita’s, Freshens, Bookie Café and former food court tenant?
Sales volumes for current and prior tenants falls anywhere between $350,000 - $1,400,000.
Is there any exclusivity on coffee service?
There is no exclusivity on coffee service.
