Carlita's Mexican Grill & Espresso serves authentic Mexican food including fresh burritos, tacos, a signature Rock Shrimp Taco as well as coffee and espresso drinks.
Carlita's Mexican Grille & Espresso is located at the newly renovated Compton Union Building in the heart of the WSU campus. The home of authentic Mexican cuisine, Carlita's is proud of their commitment to using 100% biodegradable/recyclable paper products, and to using green chemicals for ware washing.
Carlita's has partnered with Spokane-based coffee roaster Thomas Hammer, to bring the finest coffee and espresso. Thomas Hammer coffee comes from organic and fairly traded beans. Their new Carlita's blend is featured at this brand new location and is only available at Carlita's.
Carlita's serves genuine tortillas and corn chips made from the traditional family recipes of the De Leon family of De Leon Foods, another Spokane-based company. The De Leon family uses Shepherd's Grain flour in making their product. Shepherd's Grain is grown by an alliance of local farms committed to sustainable practices.
